Day: 1 | Arrival, transfer Hemingways Nairobi
On your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be warmly met by our representative who will transfer you into the vibrant Nairobi. Spend the night at the luxurious Hemingways Nairobi where you and your family will get be treated to the services of a discreet, highly trained butler whose role is to ensure a hassle-free stay.
The beautiful Hemingways Nairobi is situated a mere 40 minutes from Nairobi’s international airport, where it is spread across flourishing grounds in the exclusive suburb of Karen. This elegant boutique hotel is enchanting in its decor and flooded with natural light. Its well-appointed, ensuite rooms each have a private balcony overlooking the iconic silhouette of the Ngong Hills.

Days: 2-4 | Transfer Wilson, Fly Laikipia
After a delicious lunch you will be transferred to Wilson airport for your scheduled light aircraft flight to Lewa airstrip. You will be met and transferred to Lewa Wilderness Lodge. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy sweeps over the Laikipia plains and this extraordinary, prolific wildlife conservancy takes a pioneering approach to conservation. A popular haven for photographers, celebrities and documentary, here you will find some of the most sensational wildlife viewing on the continent.
Lewa Wilderness Lodge is situated on the edge of one of Kenya’s most private game sanctuaries, the wildlife-rich Lewa Conservancy. Guests are accommodated in charming cottages which include spacious bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, fireplaces and verandas. Guest areas include a cosy sitting room, an open-air dining area and a saltwater pool boasting breathtaking panoramas of the valley below. Healthy and delicious meals are prepared with fresh produce from the lodge’s verdant organic garden. Adventures include game drives into the wildlife-rich Lewa Conservancy, camel riding, nature walks, horseriding, tennis and cultural visits to a nearby Maasai village. Days: 5-7 | Fly Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Take a scheduled light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival you will be received and assisted to transfer to Rekero Camp. Enjoy a game drive from the airstrip enroute to your lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, followed by dinner under the stars at the lodge. At breakfast each day, plan your day with your Camp Manager.
Head out on expertly guided game drives in search of animals like lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant and hippo. Watch the dramatic thrills and spills of the Wildebeest Migration as the herds traverse croc-infested waters. Return to this Masai Mara lodging after an action-packed day and relax with a sundowner drink as you take in the gorgeous views over the Talek River.
Rekero Camp is a charming, authentic seasonal safari camp situated inside the Masa Mara Game Reserve on the Talek River. The position is ideal to spot the teeming wildlife, such as wildebeest and zebra, as they migrate on their annual journey across crocodile-infested waters. The camp has been known to be surrounded by wildebeest and there are three regular river crossing points in the area.
Head out on game drives and walking safaris to spot the excellent year-round wildlife (the camp is closed from March to May during Kenya's 'long rains' season), as well as the spectacular annual Migration. Species you can look forward to seeing include lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, occasional rare black rhino, and hippo. Look out for the superb birdlife or visit the local Maasai communities to learn about local traditions and cultures. Rekero has lovely communal areas, a safari shop selling tasteful items from local artisans and a dedicated Wi-Fi tent.
Days: 8-10 | Fly Diani
Board your scheduled light aircraft flight to the Kenyan coast, Diani, where you will be picked up by met by a representative from Alfajiri Villas. Considered by many as the finest villas on the east African coast, the Alfajiri Villas are perfectly situated on popular Diani Beach, an hour south of Mombasa. Perfect for small groups, choose from three private villa options: Cliff, Garden or Beach – each with a stunning ocean view, sublimely spacious and breathtakingly decorated to reflect the traditions of the region or the spectacular natural surrounds. Day: 11 | Fly Wilson, Departure
Enjoy your last early morning swim in the sea and breakfast before we wave a fond farewell as you make your way back to the airstrip. From here, you will board your scheduled light aircraft flight to Wilson Airport, where you will be picked up our representative - who will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
