Day: 1 | Arrival, transfer Hemingways Nairobi
On your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be warmly met by our representative who will transfer you into the vibrant Nairobi. Spend the night at the luxurious Hemingways Nairobi where you and your family will get be treated to the services of a discreet, highly trained butler whose role is to ensure a hassle-free stay.
The beautiful Hemingways Nairobi is situated a mere 40 minutes from Nairobi’s international airport, where it is spread across flourishing grounds in the exclusive suburb of Karen. This elegant boutique hotel is enchanting in its decor and flooded with natural light. Its well-appointed, ensuite rooms each have a private balcony overlooking the iconic silhouette of the Ngong Hills.

Days: 2-4 | Transfer Wilson, Fly Laikipia
You will transfer to the Wilson Airport for your schedule flight to Laikipia Plateau. On arrival you will be met and assisted to check in at the luxurious Loisaba Tented Camp - Loisaba Tented Camp is a luxury camp offering abundant wildlife and sweeping views. Perched on the edge of an escarpment, Loisaba Tented Camp is designed to take advantage of unhindered views across the Laikipia Plateau’s breath-taking landscape, all the way to the peaks of Mount Kenya. The theme of the camp is one of African elegance and style, enhanced by an expansive panorama, which can be enjoyed from the large open dining area, the relaxing sitting area and bar, the tranquil wooden deck, and one of Africa’s most picturesque infinity pools.
These two days will be completely private and tailored around the photos that you want to take. Laikipia is a private conservancy, so you can drive off the trails. There will be nobody else in the vehicle, which means that you can spend as much time at specific scenes and capture wildlife from a complete variety of angles. Naturally, the game drives will maximize the best light at the beginning and end of the day. This is also when animals are most active. This is a fabulous destination for capturing photos of rhinos. Back and white rhinos live here in large numbers, and hopefully, you will be able to capture a shot of the two side by side. Big cat sightings are common with lions, leopards, and cheetahs being regularly spotted. Overall, these two days can revolve around any animals that you wish to photograph.
Days: 5-7 | Fly Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, you will be driven to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara. On arrival, you will be met by our representative from &Beyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp and transferred to the lodge. Explore the wilderness on foot and get a different perspective on every aspect of the African river, from its smallest insects and plants to the immense river creatures after which the trail is named. Set off from your lodge in the company of an experienced Maasai naturalists, who can predict the behaviour of any wildlife that you meet, interpret ever birdcall and introduce you to the natural uses of the a multitude of plants. The trail dissects a variety of landscapes, from plains to riverine forest, open grasslands and scrubby bush. The hike takes from one to three hours.
Game drives in the Masai Mara are unforgettable due to the abundance of wildlife and the spectacular landscapes. With gently rolling hills and wide open plains, this is the quintessential African safari experience. Travellers can expect to encounter large numbers of animals year round, with big herds of elephant, buffalo and other plains game. It is also common to see predator interaction.
Day: 8 | Fly Wilson, Departure
5am coffee, early morning game drive. Breakfast. You will thereafter be transferred to the airstrip for your maiden flight to Wilson airport Nairobi. Marking the end of another memorable tour. Lunch will be on own arrangements, therafter transfer to JKIA for your onward flight.
