Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta

Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, upon alighting and clearance with the customs and immigration offices you will be met by our team who will transfer you for your overnight stay at Tamarind Tree Hotel (Accommodation can be upgraded to high end options at extra cost or downgraded depending on one’s budget)

Day 2: 2024 Nairobi - Aberdares National Park.

After an early morning breakfast and check out, you will drive to the Aberdares arriving just in time for lunch. After lunch at around 2:00 pm the lodge truck will pick you up and drop you at The Ark Lodge. The afternoon will be spent resting and watching animals visit the watering hole. (Accommodation can be upgraded at extra cost depending on one’s budget)

DAY 3: Full Day Aberdares National Park

After an earlier morning breakfast, this day the driver guide picks you after breakfast and you will carry your picnic lunch for a full day exploring the Aberdares National Park. Stopping at the amazing waterfalls and the diverse flora and fauna and enjoying your picnic lunch on one of the waterfalls where queen Elizabeth used to enjoy her meals. Evening dinner and overnight stay at Rhino Watch Safari Lodge. (Accommodation can be upgraded to high end options at an extra cost or downgraded depending on one’s budget)

Day 4: Full day at Solio Ranch.

After breakfast, this day will be spent exploring the beautiful Solio Ranch, Known for its abundant Southern White Rhinos and a rustic experience. With a lunch break at around 11:0) .m. at the Lodge and an afternoon game drive at 3:00 P.m. to 6:30 P.m. evening dinner and overnight at Rhino Watch Safari Lodge.

Day 5:  Solio - Meru National Park

After an early breakfast check out of Rhino Watch Lodge and drive for about 5 hours to Meru National Park, Arriving just in time for Lunch. Meru National Park is a beautiful wilderness surrounded by magnificent hills and rivers. This is where you will see a large herd of buffaloes grazing on. Furthermore, you can spot game such as lion, elephant, cheetah, leopard, black rhino and many more other wild animals. Meru National Park has a great history of conservation and the home Of Elsa the lioness that was raised by George and Joy Adamson.

Enjoy the afternoon resting, enjoying the beautiful and relaxing environment at the camp or by swimming pool. Evening dinner and overnight at Elsa’s Kopje Camp

Day 6: Full day Game drive at Meru National Park

After breakfast the search for rhinos begins on the Park’s bushveld with luxuriant jungle, coursing rivers, verdant swamps, khaki grasslands and gaunt termite mounds. We will focus on visiting the sanctuary to see the rhinos. Evening dinner and overnight at Elsa’s Kopje Camp.

Day 7:  Meru National Park – Lewa Conservancy

After breakfast, drive 4 hours to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, a home to a wide variety of wildlife including the rare and endangered black rhinos, Grevy’s zebras and sitatungas. Serving as a safe refuge for the critically endangered black rhino and the endangered Grevy’s zebra, as well as the elephant, lion, giraffe, wild dog and other iconic wildlife species in Kenya. The Conservancy is also home to more than 400 species of birds. Day 8:  Full Day Game Drive at Lewa Conservancy

Day 9: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy-Reteti Elephant Sanctuary - Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

After an early morning breakfast drive from Lewa to Reteti Elephant Sanctuary for an exclusive private visit. Enjoy spending time with the elephants. After Lunch drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy arriving in the evening for check-in and evening rest. This is going to be a relatively long drive for the day. Day 10:  Full Day Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Early morning followed by meeting the anti-poaching Dogs at 8:30 a.m., After the dogs enjoy your breakfast Afterwards a short-guided morning game drive at the conservancy. This is usually the perfect time for game viewing as they hunt, graze or drink water. Thereafter return to the hotel for your breakfast in the mid-morning hours. Take your mid hours to rest till lunch hours. After lunch break a guided game drive till late afternoon hours and at 3:00 pm you will meet the last remaining Northern White Rhinos; Najin & Fatu. You will learn of the conservation efforts to save this endangered species and spend a private meet up with these girls. evening dinner and overnight at Sweetwater’s Serena Camp. Day 11: Full day at Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Early wake up calls for a guided bushwalk at 6:00 A.m led by a well-trained guide/armed rangers that takes nearly 2 hours, after the bush walk enjoy some bush breakfast. Drive back to the camp to freshen up and enjoy a relaxed morning watching animals by the watering hole till lunch hours.

After lunch embark for an afternoon game drive till 6:00pm in the evening. You will have a chance to meet the chimpanzees; this is the only place to see chimpanzees in Kenya. It is a sanctuary where the chimps thrive and survive with the help of the caregivers. evening dinner and overnight at Sweetwater’s Serena Camp. Day 12: Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Nairobi City

After Breakfast enjoy a leisurely check out of the Lodge and enjoy a game drive enroute to Nairobi with a leisurely drive and stop over at the Curio shops for buying gifts for your loved ones. Day 13: Nairobi David Sheldrick/Giraffe Centre/Karen Blixen-NBO

Wake up earlier in the morning for breakfast, check out from your camp, depart to Nairobi arriving just in time for lunch at 11:00am to David Sheldrick. The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust operates an orphan elephant rescue and wildlife rehabilitation program. Arrival just in time for the feeding. This is usually a thrilling moment to engage in. Approximately one hour visit at Sheldrick.

You will later drive to any nice restaurant and have your hot lunch before visiting Giraffe Centre. Lunch and rest afternoon hours (2:30 pm) where you will drive to Giraffe Centre; a conservation center for the Rothschild giraffe where you will take time feeding the rare Rothschild Giraffe on a raised platform.

You will get to learn more about the conservation efforts by the organization as well as have a chance to feed the giraffe. If brave enough (a kiss from the giraffe) will be a whole other experience. It’s said the giraffe’s saliva is medicinal. Thereafter proceed to   Karen Blixen Museum here the Movie out of Africa was filmed, there after depending on your international flight departure time, drop at Jomo Kenyatta for your flight back home or to your next destination and this will mark the end of your memorial East African wildlife adventure
