Day: 1 | Arrival, transfer Hemingways Nairobi
On your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be warmly met by our representative who will transfer you into the vibrant Nairobi. Spend the night at the luxurious Hemingways Nairobi where you and your family will get be treated to the services of a discreet, highly trained butler whose role is to ensure a hassle-free stay.
The beautiful Hemingways Nairobi is situated a mere 40 minutes from Nairobi’s international airport, where it is spread across flourishing grounds in the exclusive suburb of Karen. This elegant boutique hotel is enchanting in its decor and flooded with natural light. Its well-appointed, ensuite rooms each have a private balcony overlooking the iconic silhouette of the Ngong Hills.

Days: 2-3 | Amboseli National Park
You will transfer to the Wilson Airport for your flight to Amboseli National park. On arrival you will be met and assisted to check in at the luxurious Tortilis Safari Camp - Named after the natural forest of flat-topped acacia tortilis thorn trees that give it shade, the charming Tortilis Camp is situated on a sprawling private concession, accessed from within the renowned Amboseli National Park. Guests can expect elegant accommodation and endless views stretching to the majestic snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru in Tanzania. Days: 4-6 | Transfer Wilson, Fly Laikipia
You will transfer to the Wilson Airport for your schedule flight to Laikipia Plateau. On arrival you will be met and assisted to check in at the luxurious Loisaba Tented Camp - Loisaba Tented Camp is a luxury camp offering abundant wildlife and sweeping views. Perched on the edge of an escarpment, Loisaba Tented Camp is designed to take advantage of unhindered views across the Laikipia Plateau’s breath-taking landscape, all the way to the peaks of Mount Kenya. The theme of the camp is one of African elegance and style, enhanced by an expansive panorama, which can be enjoyed from the large open dining area, the relaxing sitting area and bar, the tranquil wooden deck, and one of Africa’s most picturesque infinity pools.
These two days will be completely private and tailored around the photos that you want to take. Laikipia is a private conservancy, so you can drive off the trails. There will be nobody else in the vehicle, which means that you can spend as much time at specific scenes and capture wildlife from a complete variety of angles. Naturally, the game drives will maximize the best light at the beginning and end of the day. This is also when animals are most active. This is a fabulous destination for capturing photos of rhinos. Back and white rhinos live here in large numbers, and hopefully, you will be able to capture a shot of the two side by side. Big cat sightings are common with lions, leopards, and cheetahs being regularly spotted. Overall, these two days can revolve around any animals that you wish to photograph.
Days: 7-9 | Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Today you will begin the day with a hearty breakfast and then enjoy a game drive en route to the airstrip at Loisaba. After a short flight over Kenya’s scenic landscapes, you will land at the remarkable Masai Mara Reserve. On arrival at the Keekorok Airstrip, you’ll be welcomed by our representative. On your way to the camp, get your first glance at the rolling golden grasslands of the Mara and its bush landscape, observing hundreds of animals in the vast open landscape. Having reached your camp, settle down for a delicious meal, and then it's time to set out again for your afternoon game drive. Experience exceptional game viewing in the home of the big cats, including leopards, cheetahs and lions. A sundowner in the bush later, you'll return to your luxurious camp for dinner and stories around the bonfire.
Make the most of your last day at the Mara, with an early morning game drive across the landscape. Given the vast area, there are plenty of new regions to explore and your expert safari guide will take you to just the right places to see the action and drama from up close! After a bush breakfast and more safari action, you will return to your camp for lunch. In the afternoon, you can choose between another game drive or relaxing in the pool, or enjoy spa therapy. Watch the sun set over the gorgeous landscape with a sundowner in hand and then it's time for another delicious dinner.
Maasai Mara Game Reserve is where you can spot the African big five animals - lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and African buffalo. If you're visiting during the Great Migration season, you'll also find a million wildebeest making their way across the grasslands in search of sustenance and shelter to give birth. Spend a full day searching for the Mara's illustrious residents - from the trackers' favourite lions to naughty giraffes - taking a break to enjoy your packed picnic lunch served in the bush. You'll also be visiting some of the region's original human residents, the Maasai, at a local village.
Day: 10 | Transfer Nairobi, Departure
After breakfast at the camp, you will head back to Keekorok Airstrip for your flight back to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. You’ll be welcomed by our representative upon arrival and transferred to the Hemingways Nairobi Hotel for the afternoon where a day room will be available for you. Afterward, you will be chauffeured to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward or return flight, with a lifetime of incredible memories onboard. En route, you will have the chance to sample a delicious dinner at one of Nairobi’s restaurants.
